On e-bike on top of San Michele<\/h2>\n

Let\u2019s go to the top of San Michele Alp<\/p>\n

Even if it slightly exceeds 800 mt in altitude, it surely is one of the most beautiful Lake Maggiore viewpoints.<\/p>\n

San Michele Alp, <\/strong>astride Valcuvia and Valtravaglia, not only offers an incomparable panorama on Lake Maggiore, but also is a starting point for beautiful walks through the woods surrounding Mount Colonna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To make the excursion easy for most, we will start from one of the many parking lots in Cuveglio area e we will \u201cclimb\u201d along the paved road that will take us to Arcumeggia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We will make a stop to discover this fascinating \u201cpainted\u201d town that during century XX hosted many even worlwide popular artists.<\/p>\n

We will proceed along the same paved road until the San Michele little church at 860 mt altitude.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The FRESCO and a wonderful panorama will be the destinations of our climb.<\/p>\n

We will have time for a snack on top and then we will slowly go down the military road until Valalta fort, already part of Cadorna line.<\/p>\n

We will come from Duno <\/strong>down the paved road.<\/p>\n
